We created this product as a two step system because of how tricky it can be to adequately exfoliate the skin. You often hear about overexfoliation and the whole new set of problems that can bring. Overexfoliating can lead to skin barrier damage in the form of irritation, redness, and cracked skin. And, since the skin becomes too dry from overexfoliating you can even end up causing excess oil production (which is the total opposite of what you want). 

There is a delicate balance between exfoliating without stripping the skin and making sure you are keeping your skin adequately hydrated. 

Inspired by the concept of skin-cycling we added recovery directly into your routine. This two-step system ensures you get the clarification of an exfoliating treatment with the essential soothing support your barrier needs.

The Extra Strength Toner Pads are formulated with BHA and AHA to exfoliate the skin and remove pore-clogging impurities from the surface of the skin. Following application of the toner pads, you can apply the Hydrating Booster Serum to make sure you are adequately hydrating your skin. Made with Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides to restore moisture and support the barrier. 

Pore Refining Hydrogel Mask: 

As the latest addition to our pore collection, the Pore Refining Hydrogel Mask provides skin-smoothing benefits to improve the look of enlarged pores. 

When you think of pore care, you generally tend to think of oily skin since excess oil is at the root of lots of pore concerns. For example, clogged pores form as a result of the presence of excess oil mixing with dead skin and becoming trapped in pores. 

And, when it comes to treatment for problem pores, it seems like lots of skincare options out there can lead to some drying effects. For example, an OTC-strength exfoliant is often recommended for pore issues, but when used improperly you can end up drying out the skin. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use exfoliants ever, but you should definitely exercise moderation. 

But, in the case that you may have overdone it on the treatments, our Pore Refining Hydrogel Mask helps give the skin some TLC while also still targeting problem pores. Made with Niacinamide and Rose PDRN, this mask helps smooth and plump the skin. Plus, if you want the glass skin glow you can apply the mask for 2 to 3 hours or overnight to wake up to glowy-looking skin.

The 2-Step Extra Strength Toner & Booster Duo fits right in after your cleansing step. After cleansing the skin, swipe the toner pads over the face and neck. Or, you could also leave the toner pads on as a mini face mask. Apply to areas where you typically see breakouts. Then, let the skin dry for at least 2 minutes before applying the serum. You can apply the serum all over the face and neck. Then you may continue with your routine as usual. 

The Pore Refining Hydrogel Mask fits great at the end of your night skincare routine. Once you’ve applied all your serums and moisturizer, apply the mask and leave it one for 2 to 3 hours. You can also leave the mask on overnight, it’s completely safe to fall asleep in and it won’t end up on your pillow. The mask starts to turn transparent the longer you wear it to indicate absorption.
