If you’ve dealt with clogged pores then you know how hard it can be to keep your pores looking clear. You can try professional extraction but let’s be honest, that's not a realistic treatment that  you can do consistently for clogged pores (not to mention it’s pricey).

Besides, extractions are not so much a solution to clogged pores but more like putting a bandaid on the issue. The results are not going to last very long if you don’t address the underlying causes of clogged pores.

Pores tend to clog up with things like excess sebum mixing with dead skin cells, dirt, makeup residue, and bacteria. And clogged pores can result in blackheads, sebaceous filaments (like blackheads but yellowish or off white in color), and/or breakouts.

So if you want to get to the root of the problem, you have to address all these elements that can get trapped in your pores. And, that involves a skincare routine that targets those impurities and keeps them out of your pores.

Cue our new pore line:

Pore Cleanser with Niacinamide

To better care for your pores, you need to have a clarifying cleanser that specifically targets the gunky stuff in your pores. And to do that you need some pore-targeting ingredients to get the job done.

Our Pore Cleanser is formulated with Niacinamide and Salicylic Acid. Niacinamide helps balance oil on the skin and helps minimize the appearance of large-looking pores. As an exfoliating ingredient, Salicylic Acid helps dig deep into pores to flush out pore-clogging elements.

While our new cleanser is deep cleansing, it is also made with some hydrating ingredients like Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid so your skin won’t feel tight and dry after using it. These nourishing ingredients will also help calm and soothe the skin.

Our cleanser can be applied onto dry skin, which we recommend to best help the product foam up. So, after you massage the product onto the skin you can wait and watch as it starts to foam up on your skin. And, if you feel like your pores need an extra cleaning, you can leave the cleanser on for 3 to 5 minutes as it foams up to give your pores a deep cleaning.

Pore Serum with Niacinamide

A good way to keep your pores clear of gunk is to use an exfoliating product. A leave-on exfoliant helps clear up pores and keeps them clean as it breaks down gunk that can clog up your pores.

While a good cleanser is essential to clear away pore gunk, an exfoliant will help keep the gunk away. Especially an exfoliating type product that you can leave on the skin so it works its magic over time.

Our Pore Serum is a gently exfoliating serum made with Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid. The combination of these ingredients work together to flush out pore gunk and keep it out of pores, while making pores appear less noticeable.

But, while lots of exfoliants on the market may be too harsh for some skin types, our Pore Serum is also made with Allantoin and Sodium PCA to hydrate the skin and support the skin barrier. So, you don’t have to worry about your skin getting irritated or flaky.

It’s best to apply a couple of drops to the skin during your PM routine. But, if you want to apply it in your AM routine just be sure to apply appropriate sun protection.

How to add the pore line to your routine

Our Pore Cleanser and Pore Serum can fit pretty snugly into your existing routine. Here’s how:

Step 1: Gently massage the cleanser onto dry skin. Let it sit on the skin for a few seconds so the product foams up. Or, leave it on for up to 5 minutes to convert the cleanser into a quick face mask.

Step 2: Pat in a few drops of the serum into the skin.

Step 3: Apply your normal moisturizer and SPF (just for your AM routine).

As our final tip: Just remember to be consistent in your pore care routine. You won’t get clear pores overnight but with a consistent routine you can help improve the look of your pores and keep out pore-clogging element
